It is the AGM of The College Association at City College Peterborough tomorrow. After 12 years as Chair I have decided it is time for a change both for them and for me so I shall be handing over to the new Chair. It will be a time of mixed feelings. I have
spent this afternoon getting all the paperwork up to date ready to hand over.0 -

Still at work. Doing a Fiordilatte delivery at the moment. Not much longer to go before home time or should I say caravan time!

Dry start to the day and managed to get hooked up before it started to rain. Wet all the way to New Abbey but rain stopped as I was reversing van onto our chosen pitch. Dry all afternoon so we walked to Sweethearts Abbey and back, and the sun even came ou
for a while. Started to rain again about 8:30 this evening and is still coming down Hope it stops before I take Flyte out for his last walk.0 -
Just been to pack the caravan for our few days down in Cornwall. Just about to settle down to watch Strictly - I have a £1 on a sweepstake, having drawn Claudia.

Hope you have a good time in Cornwall, David, we are heading down there next weekend.
We've arrived in Cornwall this evening (really yesterday as it's now after midnight). We're just here until Thursday morning. Just enough time to catch up with our daughter at Falmouth Uni

Determined to get out of bed today. I've been in it for the last 2 days, struck down with man flu. What a dreadfull affliction us men have to suffer, LOL.

Write your comments here...Chance would be a fine thing for me! I have to get up for work!
Anyhow, I'm glad to see the sun has come out this morning! The less powerful sun at this time of year means I can sit in the relaxer in the awning without feeling too hot!

Thanks Brue, funnily enough my cat has spent most of his days in bed with me. Cat sympathy I reckon.

Hope you have a good time in Cornwall David and that your daughter is getting on well at Uni. It is such a big change for them. (and for you - you must miss her)

Hope your daughter is enjoying university, it's quite a long journey for a visit, but the lovely area must make up for it.

Another bright and chilly morning, just about to peg all the washing on the line. Then it's off to work, going to be busy this week, as am on holiday for a week from Friday, counting down the days now!

She seems to be enjoying it, thanks H&T. It is a long journey - took us about five and a half hours from Tamworth to Redruth yesteady. If it's any consolation to us, one of the girls who lives in her flat comes from Newcastle upon Tyne. That must be
a nightmare! She couldn't have chosen anywhere further from home than Falmouth!David

Beyond excited today - we're going to see Divine Comedy at The Sage at Gateshead (nothing to do with Dante!).
I've loved then for years and had given up hope of managing to get to a gig.
And we get to sleep in tomorrow - we're staying over in a Premier Inn.

We are coming down at the weekend, staying at Treamble Valley. We are celebrating our wedding anniversary, have been given some CC gift vouchers so we can have a holiday.

Thanks Millie. She seems fine although hasn't been too well - she's had tonsillitis but seems to be getting over it now. Things are much quieter at home....

We're staying a little further south, just outside Redruth at Globe Vale - a serviced pitch. It's not a Club site, but a particular favourite of ours.

Good luck with that David. We still haven't managed it. We still have 4 boxes of our youngest son's belongings here. Everytime we go over to N.Ireland and put a few bits in the suitcase!

Trouble is David you can't just take it down to the tip in case they really want it!
I empty the loft/cupboards/garage of their stuff and give them 7 days to retrieve what they want before going to the tip with it. The ceiling upstairs has now lifted up by 1/4 to 1/2 an inch as a result of the loft being emptied.
Oh well - off to play removal man today, I can feel a bad back coming on right now.

We're just about to have lunch now. We have to eat early because of having to start work at 12 noon.

We usually finish lunch by 11:30 a.m.
