Some observations on fellow members this year

Not really noticed a problem with any of those things mentioned in the OP. Yes I've heard hammering and rolling noises but not to any hugely detrimental level . If the wind picks up later on in the evening I can understand people wanting to make sure they aren't going to lose their awning or the side of their caravan over night.
Lights of cars - never noticed any, cigarette ends are sometimes on the floor but not in a huge quantity. The bottle bank was the noisiest thing on the last site we were at - bottles crashing in at midnight was a bit anti social we felt - but really not a major issue TBH.

KD69, great summation. It makes you realise what a bunch of anti-social folk the CC have. . . .They spend most of their time complaining
of others anti-social behavior0 -
what's the other two?

There is one thing that gets my goat
We don't bring a tv, we watch the tele in the caravan opposite us. It's when they turn over or worse still draw the blinds before the programmes ended
but thats where you need a generic remote so you can switch it back

Thought I'd start a discussion as the nights draw in
Smokers - I get smoking outside the van/motorhome but don't drop the ends all over the pitch for someone else to pick up
Waste disposal - plan your days so you're not dragging grey waste and water containers about after 10pm noising up the place when some folks are trying to sleep
On a non stormy night do you really have to readjust your awning pegs and rehammer them after 10pm
Do you really need full lights to drive round the site at night - pretty sure dipped will do
That is all
Write your comments here...you forgot kids on bikes , some are out really early doors & the little monkeys are always late in when they're on holiday sorry I forgot aircraft noise at Buxton CC site , it's going on all day landing & taking off I know it's nothing to do with the CC it's just not on , that's people for you always going on holidays to far away places

I don't think anyone is trying to close down the conversation...rather expand on it...there seemed so much missing
Actually I've missed off the caravan/motorhome taking the electric point that's closes to my van and shower blocks being closed for two hours out of the 24 available in a day...
That's what happens when you rush a post

Reading posts like this could make you paranoid while on site.
Looking over your shoulder to see who is watching your every move.

That is all? That is all!! By jingo it can't be...
What about fairy lights, solar lights, driving too fast, excessive use of electricity by leaving lights on, flags (don't get started on flags!!), leaving hair in sinks, barking dogs, crying and/or screaming children, noisy people after 9pm, ball games, bikes,
scooters, wind breakers, quantity and quality of wet washing out to dry, radios too loud, portable bluetooth speakers playing music other than Classic FM (or at a push The Archers), smell of bbq's, wind blowing bbq's the wrong way, early arrivals, late dpeartures,
reserving pitches, not being able to reserve pitches, people not making eye contact, people making too much eye contact, doggy poo, doggy poo bags, lack of doggy poo bags...Have I forgotten anything?
Really sorry if I have, I'm usually too zoned out to notice and have to read all these threads to find out what doesn't make me happy
You've forgotten those that start up their vehicles and leave them running for ages while they do a multitude of other jobs before hitching up &/or setting off.

And how about those who leave their vehicles parked in the MHSP?
Come on chaps and chapesses, there must be more - we can do better than this.

May I take this opportunity to thank Solobay for a very enjoyable thread-nice one mucker

Can't stand these multiple 'good mornings' as soon as I step foot out of my caravan, I now have a printed T shirt with 'good morning' on the front, and something completely different on the back
I've found if you walk your dog on a 10ft lead and then put some shaving foam round the dogs mouth people tend to give you a wide berth

... Not a problem for me, it is the ones that scowl that get me. A frindly greeting never did any harm.
