Fully servced pitches are becoming almost 'the norm' on a lot of commercial sites. And they are still far cheaper than CC sites.
The CC (and in this respect, the C&CC) are just not moving with the times.
Cleaning the toilets to an immaculate standard just once per day and cutting the grass to within an inch of its life and charging top-dollar is not what people now want.

Of course not, M.......my comment was just general, but may have hit a raw nerve in some quarters......
Well it certainly didn't read as a general comment, and appeared to be directed at a specific individual. Naughty Naughty!!
Why? Who do you think that my general comments applied to, Nellie?
Write your comments here...I must admit that I read your post as a general comment and not aimed at any individual Ian.

Tut tut Nellie.......apparantly it's rude to put people into groups.......according to the CC Fan Club.
Anyway, who do you think my comment applied to then?

What is this thread about again?

I'm beginning to regret ever starting this thread. As is so often the case, the opinions of a very small number of regular posters dominate the discussion and ultimately it turns into a slanging match. To those who have nothing better to do but sit for hours
on end following such procedures, one has to assume that they derive much pleasure and amusement.Much of the anarchy derives from the fact that some people don't like somebody disagreeing with them and possiblyridiculing their opinion. As long as somebody doesn't call another poster by an objectionable name or personally
insult them in some way, I can see nothing wrong in responding with a somewhat witty, straight to the point answer which might imply that they think others are on a different planet. As has already been mentioned, perhaps the inclusion of a happy 'face' might
calm things down and reduce the nasty threats of reporting someone. I assume most of us are no longer at school. As the original poster, it might now be a good idea to put this one to bed. Thank you all for the interest you have shown, but I doubt that any of it will make the slightest difference.
