Especially when there is Tesco about 5 minutes away with plenty of space. Or a bit less space but OK for MH’s Dobbies. We have used both when we have been running early.

In fact, it doesn’t matter which direction you're travelling from to the Cirencester Park site - there are ample lay-bys on all the roads (even allowing for those dratted HGVs!)

There's always room on a supermarket carpark to wait with 40'/45' of car & caravan ..... 🤣

There is at the nearby Cirencester Tesco ED. We have used it with our 12 metres of X Trail  and Cadiz. So I was speaking from experience. All it takes is a little research using Google. Would you seriously condone parking in one of the passing places on an already narrow entrance lane.?

Arrived back home from Wharfedale earlier today.  Left the site at 11.30 am just as a van was turning into the Long Ashes complex road leading into the club site.  I laughed as I know he'd have an hour and a half to sit and wait outside the site as you're not able to gain entry until the site staff come out and move the board and check you in. This site has, in fact, had a 1.00 pm arrival time for quite a while.

Who said anything about parking up in a passing place? I've parked up in a supermarket too but its not necessarily going to be easy. Speaking from experience of course.

I was talking purely about Cirencester, as that was what the review was about and yes it is that easy.

I would think there is quite a difference between odd vehicles meeting and half a dozen totally blocking  said lane because they had arrived early and were unable to gain access to the site.

I never specifically mentioned Tesco ... I just said supermarkets

Don’t think this has been thought through. Surely it’s about those extra unnecessary units which cause an issue as they shouldn't be gaining access before 1pm. They just block things up not just for those units clearing pitches and leaving the site but everyone. They shouldn’t be there, full stop!
