Well , I’m not losing any sleep over it , after all the CAMC doesn’t hold the monopoly on caravan sites and there is plenty of choice out there ,both commercial and private

What company? I’d say the company they are being paid by, the company they show no loyalty to, the company they leak attacks against for you to publicise for them. I trust no one who shows such a deep lack of loyalty☹️

And I am sure there will be likes from those who also live in a strange world of some of your postssurprised

I always thought whistleblowers in any organisation should be applauded.

All it would take to make any leaking unnecessary is for the club to give out a factual update, instead of disseminating information in an add hoc manner. JD was told in a recent chat (quoted post above) that the new system wouldn’t be coming till early September. I personally don’t consider this shortly, as in the email they sent out to members with bookings the other day.

Indeed they are but I suspect by posting in this context and reply to JK that you may not understand what one is at all.

Whistleblowing refers to reporting something in an organisation by usually an employee that is perceived as illegal, dangerous, immoral, fraudulent... you get the idea?

Simply being unhappy about your working conditions isn't covered by the definitions and/or protection by current legislation see https://www.gov.uk/whistleblowing.

Also all we have is JVB's personal views/anecdotes from someone he may have been in contact with.

    Complaints that count as whistleblowing

You’re protected by law if you report any of the following:

a criminal offence, for example fraud
someone’s health and safety is in danger
risk or actual damage to the environment
    a miscarriage of justice
the company is breaking the law, for example does not have the right insurance
you believe someone is covering up wrongdoing

Complaints that do not count as whistleblowing
Personal grievances (for example bullying, harassment, discrimination) are not covered by whistleblowing law, unless your particular case is in the public interest.

Report these under your employer’s grievance policy.

But while they might be more than one (and really with respect we have no evidence of that what so ever) they are just personal grievances/unhappiness and not whistleblowing which was my point.

As JK said they should use the club's procedures to address that following their terms of employment, which I assume they signed up voluntarily and should abide by them, as they expect the club to do to them?

I would personally find it annoying and distasteful if as an employee anything I said to someone else was reported on social media.

The information I have received and some some of which posted on here , is also known by others who post on here who have my email address so is monitored  as they want it to be made aware to others ,but they are ,as in many organisations tied

What Company In Their right Mind Would introduce with the Glitches that will undoubtedly be in the system , a completely new booking system at the height of the peak period of occupancy ?"

It doesn't slacken off until Oct/Nov, so nothing will happen until then ?

I think when the schools go back in September there is a relatively quiet period  apart from those who go to ground July to beginning of September,   leaving it much later will mean those site staff who are on shorter contracts  will not get any experience with the new system

And add to the training of the new intake in 2023

That is not whistle blowing, JV. That is leaking company information.

The grievance procedure is there for staff to use if they have complaints about their employment.

The company's disciplinary procedure exists to deal with employees who deliberately breach its rules such as leaking information and it’s a foolish person who invites action in line with that so I suggest you tell your mates to stop spreading gossip for their own good. It does you no credit to repeat this tittle tattle.

Less children perhaps, but the sites are generally fairly full. Might generally be less bookings, however if June to September are released out of phase, who knows.

The" public domain" you refer to is the members of " club?" they pay an annual fee to belong to🤔

The public domain is a public forum open to view by the world. Wake up to what they and you are doing JV. It is not clever.

No matter how many times you talk about drought conditions, it does not excuse the type of behaviour you condone. There are other ways around a non productive situation.

They are playing a dangerous game and you should not take part in it, what they are doing could be grounds for dismissal (certainly would be, in fact was, where I worked which had/has strict social media rules) and I wonder how happy they will be with you if that happens? There will be grievance procedures to follow and they should do so

Also I find it all too one sided and secretive - yours.

This is so OT so I'll leave it there,

Yes, of course. Disgruntled employees can join a trade union - Unite springs to mind - and enlist it’s help, they can seek advice from Citizens Advice, they can approach ACAS with a view to proceeding to an employment tribunal. I’m sure there will be others if I care to dust the cobwebs out of my head.

You're on sticky ground giving voice to staff members, JV.
