If you ring to ask for a pitch close to facilities you are almost always going to explain why - that is what people do.

It is pretty natural to do so. No need to request to use disabled facilities, just take your Radar key

That is a very good post by hja.

I think it is sad that the thread became so argumentative, and it would have been much better if the logical attitude shown by hja had been adopted from the start.

I would like to know whether tricia11 got the problem sorted, because it was said that the site staff was uncooperative. ("refused point blank" is what I recall) Possibly a misunderstanding? Did tricia11 raise the matter with Head Office? If there was a lack of cooperation by site staff then it needs to be addressed by Head Office, but if it was a misunderstanding then perhaps we may be informed.

I am not disabled, but I support the club's policy and believe site staff are quite good about these matters usually.

Thank you to hja for the comprehensive explanation and it is a good point on which to end this conversation. As far as the OP is concerned they will have to take up their question direct with the Club so that they can investigate the particular circumstances.

    Thanks
