Joining ACSI On-site

As we may decide to visit France at short notice I wonder whether it is possible to join ACSI at any member site? There may not be enough time to join on-line and receive membership and reference books through the post before leaving the UK.

This was how we joined several years ago when the proprietor of the site where we stayed for two weeks recommended that we join before checking out. Very good of her because it worked out cheaper than paying the normal rate and we had the benefit of membership for the rest of the trip. I don't know whether this option is still available and whether every site can offer it?

We visited several sites across France last year, many of which were ACSI discount sites. As I recall, the ACSI books were on display in the site offices. The 'drawback' is that the guide books are in the local language, not that that should be a problem for an experienced hand like yourselfcool

Thanks for that. I am not too fussed about the books as we will not go anywhere new. My French is good but I think all the abbreviations could be a challenge!
