that is a good one, but I like:

I don’t think apology is in his vocabulary.

It’s the sense of entitlement that he has that really gets to me, but he’s not alone with that. 😱😱😱

Its an old 'hard up' delicacy,  my old Dad used to love tripe cooked in milk....just the sight of it would turn my stomach...let alone the Cow's, whose stomach it was. Looked like a piece of polar bear hide. Smelt revolting.Give me a Pasty any day.

Be glad when we are back touring again, at least we will have something relavent to talk or moan about.

'the Observer and the Sunday Mirror said witnesses reported seeing Mr Cummings in Barnard Castle'

    Must be true then

Tripe?-Other than meaning crap or rubbish-it’s a cow/sheep/pig’s stomach lining as in part of the digestive system. I can understand some Stone Age type eating it for survival but to consider the sack that holds the part digested food that is heading for the animals exit. . .Really🤷🏻‍♂️. Has evolution not helped your decision making choices at all🤢🤢🤮

I never for a moment doubted that Cummings and Co did isolate in Durham and that was a decision on his part which I personally support.

It is my personal view  that whilst for some their opinion is their own that many just follow the spectacular headlines without looking beyond or applying their own values. The baying pack syndrome where the pack blindly follows the lead dog in many cases.

As somebody who does read foreign press via their internet sites, most simply copy world news from the country of origin in such cases and also copy any bias. Of course scandal sells newspapers and balance and analysis does not.

You do realise that Freddy Star ate my hamster. I forgave him but the hamster probably didn't

The press have to nice over the last few weeks with reporting on all the virus situation, but now it seems they are fed up and the reporting pack is out to pray on someone ,so they print a story ,not necessarily the truth .

Many do not read beyond the headlines Dominic Cummings 'made second lockdown trip'. Verified by two newspapers and their unnamed witnesses (probably the same source). Is that headline true? I have no idea. As the same headline will be simply regurgitated worldwide without analysis it means little to me.

    Conspiracy, No.

The worst form of trial by media, Yes.☹️

They've got the smell of blood and nothing is going to stand in there way. Although he was in the wrong, it does not make it right.👎

Much my view Steve although, as I have said, I could not condemn in this case as I would have likely done the same.

I suspect, I would have also. Although I would have put my hands up to it. Of course as I'm not DC the worlds press would have looked the other way.😂

This post was meant to be about When lockdown ends, it seems to me it's being high jack by political activists, how long before the left wing trolls get access, let's get back to the main theme. What do we expect when the lock down ends earlier in the post their were some good points made but this political point scoring isn't one of them. l am more interested in how the club expects to move once they are given the green light to open, will there be a price to pay,. Will we have the amenities open but under strict rules no doubt there has got to be social distancing, should we pay online, will a pitch be chosen for you instead of driving round, bit like the caravan and camping  club or will you have to pick one from the site map. These are things we should be discussing not what our political masters are upto, if we got into that ball game half the mps would be locked up by some of you. Now let's all keep safe and think of ideas that will help our hobby through these trying times.

you are right i know very little about your family, but would you mind telling us all where you would be right now if it were not for this pandemic, let me remind you 30+ days into a 60+ day European tour in your shiney new caravan, and would you mind telling us all where you would like to be in September if we have gotten to grips with this pandemic and lock down has been lifted, Oh! off on another elongated trip in your shiney new caravan, and is this not something you have been doing for many years interspersed with trips to Cuba, so please do not use this pandemic to play the sympathy card, and try to make out that i am the bad guy in this.

This whole Cummings thing is something that somebody has been keeping in their back pocket since March waiting for the moment when it looks like we can see a light at the end of the tunnel and some of what the government and the people paid to advise the government is coming to fruition and then they have chosen to lob a grenade over the wall in an effort to distract from all that has been achieved, we even now have some who would deny our children a return to school, because they deem it to be unsafe, unlike 20 other countries whose children are back at school, not totally but we are not asking for a total resumption in the UK.

it is always the same in the UK, there is always somebody out there knocking all the achievements that have been made or trying to kill those that have been successful but never coming up with anything tangible in their own right. frown

Pay by phone before you arrive and give number plate.

You will already have been given pitching instructions, so drive up to barrier on arrival and you will be let in.

No need to assign pitch. You are still going to have to get a barrier card. So find your own and report back as normal. One in one out at office, warden protected by screen.

Site either (max ) 50% full and facilities in use with a tally system.

Or (max) 75% No facility, prices adjusted to reflect.

    Enhanced cleaning in all areas.

gel dispensers at service points and entrances to facilities (if open)

In either case all other facilities such as bistro, games room, pool closed. Although take away vendors allowed with appropriate social distancing in place.

    Thats my 5p's worth.

It’s reporting, I support any news media that reports these things. I prefer this than Mr Putins Russian press. Free & fearless media, the day the media are controlled by Govt we have lost democracy. If they make things up then the courts are always there for recompense. It works too👍🏻
