PD, Plan a picnic in your MH if you have it at home. Just being in there will cheer you up.👍

We have both been down to the Motorhome ( all of six yards from the back door!) Margaret looking for unread books, two found and me to collect the freestanding table which is now in the lounge ready for a jigsaw or two. Usually only do them around Christmas time. Don't fancy redoing old jigsaws so may have to order a couple from Amazon.

We bought a Globe jigsaw online for some friends of ours at Xmas. They have really enjoyed it, it’s robust and well made and they now have a Globe of the world to look at......

Some great posts on what you have planned to do but has anyone got some ideas on improving the motor home. Any suggestions on solar panels. Cleaned the outside last week , one thing l bought was one of those extendable ladders brilliant for the roof extends to 3.3 metres, whish l done that when l had the caravan so much easier than steps. Moving to the inside of the van this week to try an sort the rattles and reposition some items. On the solar panels thought of doing it myself, seen the videos  looks pretty straight forward but her that has to be obeyed poo pooed that idea so will be looking around at different companies for prices

    Regards

H, there a few ways to set up the SP installation and some may depend on the van (and control unit) you currently have...

why not open a new thread and chuck your ideas out there and there will be loads of advice to help you understand, even if its someone else that does the actual imstall you'll be better understood...

    good luck.

I have had and external TV socket bought sometime ago to fit. Might actually get round to it in the next couple of weeks or so if the temperature warms up. Also got a small scrape on the front wing to remove and respray. The latter a definite warm day job.

    Afternoon

That's a good idea AD, I've made a rather large list to keep the mind busy over the coming months, one is to attempt to do the seats in the camper. Not sure if I'll cover or try and do a proper reupholster. I did the seats in our first fifth wheeler using an end of roll from dunelm, still have all the needles etc so I'm up for it. We used the curtains from our house when we left to cover the caravan seats as you did and they're still going strong nine years on!

Hoping to add some extra 240v and 12v sockets as well. Did a solar install last winter, it was very straightforward and I did it in a day. I would like to have some sort of permanent wifi booster mount for when we're out using the wonderful club wifi!wink

We have a set for all our seating made up from a couple of throw-overs, which we take off after every trip and OH washes them, and then sew them back on before setting off again.
