For anyone planning to use the A10/E80 motorway between Italy and the south of France the Morandi bridge collapse will result in significant delays around Genoa. The A10 motorway was a very busy arterial road and the alternative SS1 through Genoa is already congested on a daily basis. I suggest those who were planning to use the A10 in this area keep an eye on developments very carefully before attempting their journey.
