Interesting post AD.  But don't you think that the dog owner problem could be easily solved if the on site staff took an interest in what was happening on their site and did the job they are being paid to do. ------  No more barking, howling, or dog mess, every owner using a short lead and the site rules being upheld. smilesmile

Will it happen ??  I doubt it.  frown

    wink

Took a bit of working out the "MT" bit JK, but I have it now! wink And I agree.

Seven pages in, and so far the general consensus (bar one, plus two mates who haven't agreed with bar one, but are willing to give moral support for jumping in without a lifebelt!) is that the idea is in essence...............barking!

It been a really good diversion from other threads though, 10/10 for effort, next please!laughing

KJ, like with most threads the whole thing(thread within the thread) needs to be followed to make sense, but it does make sense👍🏻😊

PS-MT is Mega Troll, it’s an epithet given to a poster who never posts anything other than derogatory or disruptive posts with the aim of creating disharmony. Hope this helps👍🏻

Defeated me as well. Acronymfinder.com has 171. Mega Troll was not one of them.☹️

One question, I've never looked for it in the site shop and therefore never registered if they sell it or not, but do they stock dog food?

Surly this must be their biggest seller?

SL won’t be in your Acronymfinder.com SL but here it is. Some acronyms are used out of lazyness(by me😨) so they’re not in common use👍🏻😊

Never seen any. maybe there's no demand for it due to the limited number of dogs that stay on site cool

Not common usage admittedly, but apparently it is also a Peruvian terrorist group Sendero  Luminoso (shining path). Also can be used for speed limit, so we will have to be careful with its use on this site.😂

I note that the OP seems to have disappeared without trace! So, a bit like last weekend's trolling exercise it's becoming clear to me that this is very likely a complete wind up and it's surprising (well, maybe not) that some folk have been naive enough to take it seriously and jump in with support. I suppose any bandwagon will do for some!  undecided

so if the number of Cornettos sold exceeds the number of Pedigree Chum then that conclusively proves that there are more humans than dogs on site?

Oh unless dogs like Cornettos of course?

Some would use a collective noun here-Bandwagon Boys(acronym BB) but I won’t use it again as per Rowena’s request👍🏻

Apologies if a few are not on my wave length, but it wasn't a riddle to those that have indeed kept up! We do Houses of Parliament speak at home, so when trading insults (in a friendly way I hasten to add) you have to find a polite way of putting something derogatory, with no use of naughty words, or banned words. It's H Of P speak, because when an MP is having a go at another MP, they usually start with "the Right Honourable Member......." when what they actually mean is "the lying so and so opposite....." They are not allowed to use the word liar, far too ungentlemanly!surprised

Rocky was bang on with the MT reference, please note it did not originate with me, but is oh so apt!wink

AD, very perceptive, but I was having a bit of fun, nothing more. At least you worked it out. I am utterly convinced that the OP is indeed a wind up! smile

Strange, I was under the impression that a consensus had been reached that there were some antisocial CMC customers who allowed their dogs to become a nuisance to other CMC customers. But most dog owning customers were  mindful of others. smile    And That the responsibility for ensuring that the CMC rules are adhered to by all, is that of the (ON - Site) staff.

And yet there are still people who want to argue that this is not the case. The thread appears to be going round in circles. surprised
