Hi, we are in the Gers region of France and thinking of crossing over the Pyrenees into Spain and the running parallel to them and down to the Spanish / French border near Perpignan.

Any suggestions as to which is the best route D933, N134 or D934. Also any suggestions on sites in Spain (that accept dogs)

I don't know your road numbers or exactly where you are now, but crossing to Spain by either the Somport or Bielsa tunnels are the most practical ways to go. And once on the Spanish side of the mountains the scenery in the Ordesa National Park is stunning.

Head towards Perpignan and then Spain. Overnight stop at Camping les Olivers at Le Boulou, then up and over the AP7 down past Barcelona to Hospitalet de L'Infante ( 200 miles). Camping Cala d'Ocques is right on the beach and you can exercise your dog with no problems. They give discount to ACSI card holders.
