P and O Ferries website problems
Be very careful when booking through the P and O website in the next few days, that the system doesn't 'default' back to different settings, during the booking process.
As our Frequent Traveller account with Eurotunnel expires today and we don't want to renew it until September, and as a Eurotunnel crossing will be thirty-odd pounds more than with P and O, we've just booked a crossing with P and O. We went through the booking process, and at the very last minute, after payment had been made the booking details defaulted to the default date which appears when you first look at the P and O website.
We immediately phoned P and O - and the booking was amended, but they are aware of the problem, which they say is an 'upgrade system error' so check your booking very carefully - and ring immediately to change it, and there will be no charge.
