I thought that the thread was started out of spite. Just shows how wrong I can be.

I've now Googled and found the phone has to have a "temperature sensor" and it seems I Phones don't have it. So I'll have to rely on my inbuilt body-temperature-sensor and put a jumper when I'm cold and take it off in Spring.

A really lovely sunny day here today but not as warm as it looked so I was glad I had taken my cardigan with me when I went out. I started back to my Friday Landscape History class at our local Adult Education College.  A very interesting course and nice to meet up with everyone again. Some people might find this information pointless but I really enjoyed my day.  Also with a bit of reorganisation of various commitments we have finally booked a few days away in the caravan for the middle of October.

Sounds like an interesting course to get involved in Millie.  Where are you off to in October, if you have already said then this is a pointless questionlaughing

After OH cooked me a lovely meal earlier in the week, I returned the favour tonight, Steak, followed by strawberries,  just hope he doesn't expect it every night. !! laughing

Really nice to read about everyone's activities and days out, my day out will  be tomorrow , local farmers market.

Pointlessly cleaned up the house today. Totally pointless exercise with two hair shedding monsters following me around, but it looked better for a short while!

Got waylaid while doing a bit of sorting out in MH. Found myself sat down browsing through Club Handbook.....so that's the next few options for October and November sorted, pending my OH's next stay in hospital! Daren't book anything until very late, but sites tend to calm down a tad in cooler months. Warwick Racecourse possibly, Bolton Abbey definitely....laughing

Took the ferry over to Orford Ness and had a wander around the old Bomb training centre and the Nature reserve that the Ness has become. Very interesting if you are interested in the history of WW2 bomb training etc and we got to see a few migrant birds on what was a most beautiful sunny day.

Hope you enjoy Chester, Francis, when you get there. Ask for info if you need it as either myself or Jayess will be happy to advise. I'm assuming Jayess has no objections😋

OP and Helen, guess where?!...... Houghton Mill..........again! We love it there.😊 Also we need to be fairly local as we need to get back to fetch grandsons from school on our usual day. Son and DIL are struggling with child care at the moment as their after school club has closed and I don't want to mess them about.

Enjoy your trip Millie, and you too Francis.

Another wet afternoon so it was pointless going for a walk as we'd have not seen very much, and have got rather wet doing it!!

Feeding PIGS( Portugal, Ireland, Greece & Spain)? Is this an oblique reference to Mrs May's proposed contribution to EU coffers? Almost certainly pointless.

Funny old day here.  One minute grey drizzle, then sun, then back to grey drizzle. All a bit pointless really as I can't plan anything. I seem to have lost my mojo today. frown

Rather cloudy at the mo so pointless going to the beach. Been and done the weekend shopping, tell we are in France bread has to bought every day but it is rather nice.

Just seen a bit of sun trying to break through so might not be pointless after all laughing

Have a good weekend folks what ever you are doing.
