Brue glad your early start has, hopefully, made your mouth comfortable. Good luck with your decision making. Denplan is good but you have to pay lab fees. These are not cheap 😲😲. I had a cirilic tooth last year, cost more than a crown but done in one appointment £275 if I remember correctly. OH had a crown come out whilst we were in NZ, reput  in about a week after our return, for it to come out again a week later. Put back in again when he went for a small filling. Apparently dentist thinks it may not stay in 😲 so may have to have a gap but work done too! Difficult to know how to play things as despite the cost no guarantee it will last. Even dentures Uck!! Fracture and break. I was sorting that out for my mum a couple of weeks ago.

Mum a bit poorly today didn't feel up to driving herself to the Dr's so I took her.  Arrived 5 minutes early, all the waiting room seen various practitioners just us. No call, she checked she'd been booked in (had issue with that before!) Eventually 30 minutes after her appointment time she was called in. Still traces of water infection so another weeks worth of strong antibiotics. Dr thanked her for her patience, and asked thanks be passed onto me.

As we'd planned to go over tomorrow for some maintenence work and garden we did that, so tomorrow well do today's jobs 😂😂.

Next week I need to take her to building society and bank then to buy some sandals apparently 😇. We will get a trip booked eventually but I need to find a space in the calendar as well as a site!!

Edit forgot to mention I also had to sort out 'missing' payments for our motorhome storage. So pleased we have sorted different storage from June. Yes our payments had been received. Been there for more than 2 years!!

Day started out bright but chilly now we have cloud and still chilly.

Went into town this morning to collect 2 gold necklace chains that I had managed to break frown nipped into M&S and bought a new swimsuit and undies, then to Bonmarche for another 2 pairs of crops, I've now got loads of them but will put some away for our cruise next January, (can't get crops at that time of year)

OH dropped into 3 to check out a deal that he had seen and to see if he could change his phone before the contract was up. He has now got a new phone and started a new contract but with much more Data on it than before, all for the same price as he was paying smile his contract was due to run out while we would be away in October, by switching it  now we know we would never be away abroad at this time of year, win win.

Been thinking of going away for a few days over the weekend but the site we wanted is full (shock horror) so may have to wait until Sunday to go now, strangely its the only site in Scotland that is full for the whole of the weekend.

Glad you got to the dentist brue. It always seems very expensive nowadays. I hope you get sorted without too much expense.

I hope your mum feels better soon bakers2 and you can get away in your  MH soon. Urine infections are very debilitating, especially for the older of us.

I spent my usual tuesday morning at the cathedral. After a few warm days the heating has been switched off 😲. It was decidedly chilly. Luckily our electric heater behind the desk still worked. We had a fire alarm mid morning so had to evacuate the building. Luckily no fire. The builders working on the tower had managed to set it off but cannot take the risk of not evacuating. As it was raining we took shelter in the Visitor Centre. I have spent the afternoon still sorting out what to put back in the living room and what to take to the Sue Ryder charity shop. Our little female cat has  had a good sort out in her bed and arranged the clean bedding to her liking and is now happily settled in it. Our male cat doesn't seem to care where he sleeps so is happily sleeping on the newly washed chair covers in the conservatory 😁.

I hope you have a good trip ABM.

    Lovely cow and calf Goldie.

Our Panasonic bread maker decided to throw out a duff loaf today! It looked more like a lardy cake than a loaf. Seemed to be something to do with the paddle. The bread maker is only four years old and the previous similar model lasted for years. Called a local repair agent, £35 to look at it although that would count towards the eventual cost of the repair. We only paid £89 for it. Had a look at new ones but they are now £100 more than what we paid. Decided to have a look at it myself. It was a bit like defusing an unexploded bomb in complexity. Anyway eventually managed to get it in pieces and discovered the drive belt had come off. Given that this is likely to be the weakest link you would imagine a manufacturer would simply have a removable base panel but not this Panasonic! I had to separate the inner and outer casing. I was surprised I was able to get it all back together. No spare screws or parts left over. It seems to be working now as we were able to bake a loaf. That was my excitement for the day.

Having propped my freshly varnished new shelves up to dry yesterday, one of them fell flat on the garage floor so it's covered in dust now. Grrr! Another bit of vigorous sanding before the second coat later today.

Had an unexpected visit from planning yesterday due to our proposed replacement conservatory. The original one is falling apart and originally only required a letter and design details sent to planning. Site now duly photographed by planning officer, but no phone call first, lucky someone was in. undecided

Thanks, Pliers. Unfortunately, people on this forum were using the reporting system to complain about my postings and thereby cause trouble for me, so I decided not to post on this forum anymore.

I love this time of the year, especially seeing bluebells and other wild flowers coming out. I planted up some UK bluebells in a wild area in our garden  yesterday, it will be good to see if they get going. smile

Lovely day, slightly cooler. Busy putting things back in the caravan ready for our week away on Friday. It's so nice to be away again. Hope you are all well and enjoying your time away, or preparing to go away. Best wishes to all who are unwell, waiting for treatment or caring for loved ones.
