I know this should go in the Entertainment section, but that doesn't get as many views as this.

Are you watching, or planning to watch on I-Player the latest 15 part daytime show from the BBC?

    Farmers' Country Showdown - click!

The first one is today and I haven't had time to watch (too busy drinking coffee, eating cake and gossiping with an old friend) - but I'm told, there's clips of what's coming up in future episodes. Look out for three handsome cows and their equally handsome handlers at the Westmorland Show.

The full episode is on 27th FEbruary

The poor lass on the right look's like she could do with being milked laughing.

They are shown before milking - to display their best attributes.

Then milked after the last class.

Today has been a rest day day for me. I have my wood turning club meeting tonight, so am concetrating on that.

Tomorrow we are due back at DD's to continue with the tiling, and start on the grouting.

S-I-L is keen to help with grouting, he did some in his own flat, now rented out, but I am not yet convinced that his efforts will meet with DD's standards, she is very stringent!

Actually had sunshine today, smile although being at work I wasn't able to enjoy it much. Boss told me today he'd booked a last minute holiday, for next week, looks like I'am in charge then! wink

Youngest son had his first day in new job,  said it went well.

Do you get to use the boss's chair then, Helen?

Has your son found a place to live yet?

Don't like the boss's chair, I have a much more comfortable one. laughing

Son and his girlfriend found a nice little terraced house in Sale, very close to the tram station for the commute.

Nice area Sale. Plus not far from the Trafford Centre and you'll be able to catch the tram if staying at Burrs Park all the way from Bury to Sale or even vice versa. Good choice is Sale.

Plenty of hungry customers for a Valentines lunch it seems! This one's a Macdonalds order for delivery to a customer in Lancing.

We have just returned from a lovely 5 night break at Keswick C&CC site. The Lake Distrixt is lovely at this time of year and its not too busy so easier to get about. Had an uneventful drive home today. Motorhome going in for a service and MOT tomorrow hopefullyno major issues fingers crossed.

Yes you would have thought they would prefer a meal out rather than a home delivery from Macdonalds!

There were no more orders after that one so we took the opportunity of the special Valentine offer at Subway for our own lunch. We also did some shopping at Lidl before returning to our caravan. Officially, we finished work at 7 p.m. today but in actual fact there were no more orders after 14:30.

The deal was that you buy a cold drink for £1.50 between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. and get a free meal.

Went to the dentist by bus today! Had an impression taken for a new plate. The bad bit is that the bus was busy when coming home ,a young girl gave up her seat for me! Do I look that old? Feeling ok up till then?

We seem to be getting better weather at last! Is this a sign that Spring is on its way or is that wishful thinking? Last couple of days, I've been able to spend some time sitting out in the awning in the relaxer without feeling too cold.

    A day for discussion.

To the bank manager on the phone this morning - arranging a date for him to come out to discuss our future plans.

Then this afternoon our man from the NFU came out for our annual insurance revue. Surprisingly the total amount (houses, cars, and absolutely everying to do with the business ) has gone down. Last year I did a lot of nit picking and haggling.

We've always been with the NFU. We, as a family , have had a continuous car policy since 1949.
