Beware! New EU law coming into force allowing police forces in Europe to pursue offenders in their home country if you're caught by a speed trap or go through a red light. At the moment if you commit one of these offences, plus a few others, and are caught
on camera the French police won't/can't pursue you back in the UK but the new regulation comes into effect in May this year for Europe but because our DVLA are behind times we don't join in for 2 years but keep your eyes open in case this changes, particularly
if you have a vehicle registered in say Spain but are caught speeding in France.
