Motorhome routes across the Pyrenean cols

We are looking forward to a combined cycling motorhoming trip from the Biarritz area to Bagneres de Luchon this summer. The idea is that my cycling husband and his friend work their way across the cols and that I bring the motorhome along as the 'support
vehicle'. Naturally, I would like to be able to meet up with them at the top of the climbs but I have read warnings about road width and burnt out engines and would love to hear from anyone who has enjoyed the type of trip Ive described. Short question: which
Cols are accessible and which are best avoided. Our motorhome is 7.5m long (coachbuilt).
