For anyone heading to Spain in the next few days, just take care to check weather and road conditions in the

Languedoc
.  Many other parts of the departments of the Aude and Pyrenees Orientales including towns along the A9, and Perpgnan,  have been affected by flooding, and roads blocks by debris.  Check on the latest traffic conditions if you plan to use the A9
motorway, or any overnight sites in that area.

The river
Aude at Coursan
is at a very high level - despite all the new flood defences further up the basin of the Aude.  Other rivers area also affected, and between Fleury sur Aude and Coursan the A9 was blocked at one point yesterday.

More bad weather in the Lot, Aveyron, Herault, and Gard as well - more information from the

Midi-Libre website
