anyone got tips for the blackforrest ?

hi, we have booked 2 weeks at Camping Bankenhoff at Lake Titisee in the south of the black forrest,Germany, in Sept. we are taking
the ferry from Hull to Zebrugge,return. Has anyone else done this trip and can recommend a good route,and a site half way for an overnight stop to split the journey ?...thanks
