Best route from Ouistreham to Annecy - via Paris?

We're looking at spending some time by the lake near Annecy this summer and I've been looking at routes. The most direct (and the one that comes up on Autoroute etc) skirts Paris on the A13 before joining the A6. I don't have any experience of this and was
wondering how close to central Paris it is and what traffic conditions are likely to be?
