HI All,

Sorry if this has been asked a 1000 times but I have only been as far south in France as Royan and my 60cm dish worked perfectly.

How am I fixed for next year if I go to Frejus? Will my dish still work?

Thanks

Michael

yes your dish will still work....

however, at 60cm you arent going to be watching BBC/ITV etc on it....as they are on the 'uk spot beam'.....we got it ok on an 85cm dish nr StTropez so not far away...

also, as you mentioned Sky, if you subscribe to sports and movies, you will be able to see these on your dish, as these are on the widely viewable 'pan euro' beam.

Agree - no BBC with that size of dish.

At a guess, a 1 metre dish will be needed in the south of France.

We couldn't get it either with our 85cm on the south coast; saw one GB caravan on the site with a 1m dish.

We couldn't get the usual BBC channels on the coast at Marseillan Plage with out 85cm automatic dish but that could have been because we did not have a completely open view of the sky. However at Carcassonne, which is arguably further
south, we did manage to get all UK programmes.
