Sites around Arromanches.

We plan to spend 4/5 nights in late August somewhere around Arromanches with the intention of visiting the D Day Museum. Can anybody recommend a handy site, preferably on the quiet side. Also, any recommendations on other places to visit while in the area
will be appreciated.
