Anyone been to Nice port

Hi we are shortly to set off for Corsica. We are going from Nice, just wondered if anyone has done the same trip and what way they approached the port. One way is to come off the autoroute at junction 50 but that would take you along promenade does anglais,
the other is junction 55 and through the town that way, which looks the better option with a caravan.

Any views on this?
