Caravan insurance while stored on the Continent
English insurance companies and Australians are not good bedfellows. I've learnt the hard way that this is the case.
My car was finally, after a month of hassles, insured for treble the price (740 Pounds) I would normally pay if I held an UK driving licence.
I'm worried that the insurance policy I took out on my Coachman caravan isn't worth the paper it's written on. They want 160 Pounds in two weeks' time to renew.
How do you insure British caravans in France?
Maybe a friendly insurance company in the UK will take pity on Australians with Australian driving licences just wanting to travel the highways and byways like everyone else in life without having to sell one of the kids into slavery to pay the exorbitant fees they ask for.
Hang on . . . . I just saw a pig fly past!
