Nice is it nice?

We were planning to go to Austria but now fancy going to Nice.  Any recommendations for sites, ACSI ones if possible.  Quite fancy stopping at Annacy on the way down - maybe camping Europa. 

Would like to go to Monaco for a day out would that be easy by train from Nice?
