hi all , as the title asks , who killed them , took me a couple of days to realise why the grass was so long , been going 15 years and never seen that , then the penny dropped , not even 1 left , total wipe out , so did the site/club kill them off ? and if so would they admit it ? toughts !

We have observed a team of maintenance people on a large site in France today. Sit upon mower, battery powered, going for a few hours and very quiet. Strimmer (a whopper) powered by a power pack on the operator's back, also really quiet. We lolled about on our pitch in relatively undisturbed peace while the work went on.…
