While more and more camping sites are changing to the large wheelie bins and recycle bins and siting them well away from their pitches, The CC seem to want to stick to having the rubbish bins dotted about their sites adjacent to water points next to pitches. Will the CC be changing their policy on where the bins are…
Apologies if I'm a bit dim and missed this - but having done a search on here, there seems to be no mention of it. Just come across a post on the CAMC Chat Group on FB to say that Rosedale has closed - and this is confirmed by an announcement on the main site page. I have to say that I am one of those guilty of its demise…
hi all I have booked the free night offer, but lost my details. The site claim to know nothing about this offer, having arrived today. How do I claim the first night back ?
reducing the deposit to £5 seems to have removed the deterrent to not turn up particularly Friday and Saturday bookings. Finding it difficult even in advance now to book a full week due to Friday/Saturday being booked up, I appreciate the members who can only book weekends due to work commitments etc we have been in the…

After trying a booking on the C&CC web site for a pitch on their Nairn site without success I have just found out, following a phone call to their booking office, that it has closed, & although still listed on their web site they are in the process of removing it. I am surprised that it has closed, with it being quite busy…
Hi can anyone recommend best services to use for caravans on our 3 regular motorways above. We are reluctant to stop now after some difficult past situations so would be good to know the good ones. Thanks
I thought of exploring the Mull of Kintyre this year, it's an area that I have never been to before. Thinking of getting the ferry to Campbeltown from Ardrossan and working our way up to Oban, possible turn left to Mull or right to Yellowcrag. Any tips on Mull of Kintyre campsites would be appreciated.
Looking for a CL or small site mid/far west of the peninsula for this summer. Any advice and recommendations would be very much appreciated.
