How to claim free night offer

hi all

I have booked the free night offer, but lost my details. The site claim to know nothing about this offer, having arrived today. How do I claim the first night back ?

    You will need the email(s) sent from mid November onwards, In them there will be a code to show the site staff.

    To take advantage of this UK Club campsite offer, you just need to have made a new booking between 14th November and midnight on 31st December 2024, for a minimum two night stay arriving between 3rd January and 31st March 2025. You will need to pay the deposit or pay in full as usual - and show your code when you arrive and we'll refund that and give you the night for free when you arrive.     You also need to be aware that if you amend an original booking ..eg change dates to include 3/3/25 > 31/3/25..the voucher is not valid as it is the original date on the booking that counts not the amended date of the booking. You need to Cancel then immediately re book !!…Appreciate this is all retrospective but a warning for for future 'Free night vouchers'..

    I had booked for 3 nights at Penrhos on Anglesey for 3 nights last October to take advantage of the free night offer. When I got there I forgot to mention the free night when booking in and reception did not ask if I was using the free night offer, so I paid for 3 nights. I remembered the next day and and asked if I could have a refund for the third night but they said they could not do that as I had to mention it and give them the code when I arrived at the site and paid, so I doubt if you will be able to obtain a refund either.

    In future, if I am offered a free night by the Club, I will write myself a reminder and the number of the code and wrap it around my membership card so I don't forget!

    Compare that with the booking that I had made for 3 nights at The Riverside in Betws-y-Coed, which is an afilliated site, as they knocked off the price of their free night offer when I booked it.
