I wonder if anyone can explain why some motorhomes, possibly caravans too, can auto lock when the keys are still in the van. Just had an instance where this happened, keys in bathroom at back of habitation end of unit on adjacent pitch. Luckily for this family a small window was ajar which could be opened allowing their…

My previous post, ‘Is it time to change hardstanding policy’ elicited some good feedback. Unfortunately the discussion meandered into aires and some personal exchanges between members. Hence, it was locked. The original post was to determine if, under the changed circumstances of increased demand for pitches, members…
We recently bought a full air awning and furnished it with a table and chairs and other odd bits and pieces. All of these items including the awning are located in the caravan when travelling too and from sites. However, we have just had gale force winds that pulled heavy duty pegs out of the ground and the awning slid…

On another site, I'm sick of hearing about "Jobs Worth" wardens on the Club Sites. My experience is that today's wardens are hard working, friendly and helpful. Is it time to update their title? Does the title Warden give the wrong impression? Would Site Manager be a better title? Or something else? Or is Warden just fine?
I left the Club last year because we mainly take our motorhome to Europe but I was happy to rejoin as we thought a week away in the UK might be good whilst we await new travel rules. So, having decided on a nice area in the South East and found a Club site we fancied - it is totally booked out in June. Fortunately there…
