Costa Blanca in October

Hi, We have booked the ferry to Santander and arrive on the 1st October 2025, we haven't booked any sites yet but have a month to explore the Costa Blanca which we are pretty familiar with, however we haven't been abroad in the Campervan which we purchased last year.

Question: Can you recommend any sites that are open with good facilities (Gym/Pool) and have shortish walks to beach, bars, town etc as we have a Cocker Spaniel who will be with us. ?

    I know there are a couple in Calpe but we stayed in a rental house in Jan / Feb. The pitches I could see from the road (including Benidorm and Moraira) all looked horribly close together, certainly far closer than anything in the UK (or from my limited experience in Belgium and Holland). I would be tempted to rent a house and take a car or fly and rent a car, even using B&Bs for the odd night away. A number of friends do that each winter/spring.
