Its been several years since we went to France so I'm a bit out of date. Which is the best autoroute tag to use please?

I assume they all work regardless so the only difference between them is usually admin charges and how they bill? In the past we had always used the Emovis Tag where charges were debited direct to our UK bank account. I didn't find the admin charges excessive but some have said that admin charges to use other tags are cheaper so I suppose its a question of looking at the various T&C's?

We use the Emovis tag @DavidKlyne mentions. It certainly isn’t the cheapest in respect of initial cost and service charges, although the actual toll charges are the same as others. However, I liked the fact that all payments are made in the UK via direct debit from my bank account and covered by the DD guarantee. On the overall cost of holidaying abroad the fact that it costs a bit more I don’t consider significant.

Emovis gets the nod from me also….. billed at end of month so if you're away for several weeks the cost can end up spread over 2 DD payments…..

A factor to consider is the size and weight of a motorhome. I have yet to find a tag for Class 3 vehicles.
