He’s lovely. They really do love going on tour. Here is another veteran tourer, our @almost 15 year old chocolate Labrador. A real water lover as you might expect😁

Yes she talks a lot to us with lots of noises and howls, she doesn't actually bark much though! 😂

this is Hugo, he’s a HUGE caravanning fan, always super chilled, probably because the pack is all together and there’s no Amazon man! 😂

This is Flyte, our constant companion at home and in the caravan. He will be 13 in April, and has been blind for 3 yrs now, but still seems to enjoy going away with us.

.....can't quite work out why @nelliethehooker's photo of Flyte, and my photo of Lizzie come up as 'links' and other photo's come up 'ordinarily' in the text. My photo only comes up if I click on the 'link'..... ???

Could it be the devices you are using DSB/Nellie? I post photos from the photo files on my iPad, so it’s very easy for me to import and resize a photo on here using the little mountain icon box below.

    Lovely pictures!

@DSB that's strange - how did you upload the file? Was it the 'Insert Media' icon which embeds or the 'upload file'?

@Rowena for some reason I am having multiple problems trying to type in the link to you, using my kindle, as it seems to have a kind of its own when starting off a post.

In reply to your question I was using my iPhone to post the photo. Where do I find the 'insert Media' icon? I think I used the file attachment at the bottom of the comments block.

The second icon from the left.... that looks like two hills - the small one with a dot (sun) above it. ??? - Let me try the paper clip.....

    and then the two hills.....

I don't think I can use the Insert Media unless the picture is hosted online...? Or have I misunderstood?

    let’s try -

    Relaxing on site.

Nellie & David, I just tapped the mountain symbol and it invited me to choose from my photo album, or take a photo, or choose a file. I selected from my photo album and tapped add. Job done.

Aw, totally chilled bless him. You don’t of course use your expensive soft basket, but you just make sure no one else can😁

This is our lovely Millie, sadly no longer with us. She adored Motorhome touring, her mobile kennel took her all over, with our other pooch. Lots of beach adventures, moorland walks, rivers to swim in. Such lovely company a dog……or two😁

Double trouble, but firm chums. Both rehomes. They came from loving homes, but circumstances meant they came on to us. Millie was seven when we got her, Choccy was a mere 8 months old. After a previous life with terriers, Labradors were sort of an alien species, but we love them to bits.

Hi @DSB yes it should be that icon so sorry this isn’t embedding for you. I put together some How To guides for images. I will send this over to support to review.

Hi @nelliethehooker it is the icon with the hills/mountains found on the bottom left of the comment box (next to the emoji - screen grab below). There is also the attachment to upload file but this shows as an attachment and opens in another window.

I put together some How To guides as well covering image upload that might help as I know it's very different from the previous forum.

Hi @Rowena. I still wonder if the problem is still to do with the 'size' of the photo…? If it's of any use, the details of my original photo are:

    13.35 MB // 12000X9000 // 108MP

    ISO 50 // 25MM // 0.0ev // F1.8 // 1.347 s

...taken on a Samsung Note 20

…..don't know if this makes any sense…..

    …let me try this……

I've resized it to .99MB.... and this worked, so may well be a size issue......

Ro: You're photo of Bocker comes out as 3000x4000. My original photo of Lizzie is 12000x9000…. (quite a difference - can't access your MB). The 99mb photo above comes out as 965.58KB….

Don't know if this is of any help to pass on….

    All good wishes

    David

    I will try again.

It has worked this time, although I did just the same as last time. Very strange!!

This is Flyte, our 12+ year old Springer, who unfortunately went blind 3 yrs ago, but who has soon adapted to being both at home and away in the caravan.

@Bakers2 - How lovely - she's got to be a Cockapoo - those eyes - and the classic 'cockapoo sit'😀

When we first got Meg, we were away on a site (in a tent!) and a neighbour who was a retired police dog handler asked us if Meg had hip dysplasia because of the way she was sitting. Somewhat taken aback, especially as both her parents had been hip-scored, we said, "No that's 'cockapoo-sit' - that's what they do"😀😀

Found a blast from the past in my photos, apologies as I might have posted thison the old forum……

This Dina, our first ever dog we had together. She was 18 months old when my OH took her in, somewhat traumatised as she had been a guard dog in a fruit warehouse in Mossside Manchester, during the riots there. Not physically injured, but took a while to get her back to full mental well being. Fireworks would terrify her though poor old lass. She came on honeymoon with us, and had a good few years enjoying touring with us. This is on the beach at Polridmouth, near Fowey. Sadly, she developed bone cancer, and we had no option but to have her put to sleep, aged only eight years. But she had a lovely life with us after a rocky start.

    Can I add a non-dog photo?

    Two cats enjoying the sun.

Sylvester, doing waht he does best (sleeping but keeping an eye on things)

And Queenie - in a sunny drain.
