Thanks EuroT, but I use hundreds of websites each week, ticket booking platforms, shopping, research, etc….. and the CAMC booking platform is the only one that doesn’t work. It was working, but after making a booking, I got an error message from Club, followed by an email confirming my booking, I checked with my bank and the correct payment had been taken for deposit, but after that, I noticed that it simply buffers, then crashes.🤷‍♀️ Logic is telling me it’s not my iPad, as it works fine for everything else. I haven’t been to Meadowhell for the last 20 years😁🤣

I haven’t changed anything LLM, all but booking platform works, and I don’t need it, so I haven’t bothered. Phone is Safari that uses Google, works fine. iPad is Safari that uses Google, doesn’t work.

I am using a Chromebook and I am never able to complete a site booking as when making a payment via Worldpay nothing happens after putting in my card details . I then have to go to my tablet and make the booking again and usually manage to complete.

Not an expert but doesn't that suggest something to do with Chromebook? Or some setting on it somewhere?

We find the online booking system a bit hit and miss

I find the entire C&MHC site very hit and miss. I returned from holiday last Tuesday and a number of times when I try to access CT, it is unavailable and when it is, there are only a few discussions to actually see or perhaps comment on. Why couldn't the system send out the same message to Members about the free night at the same time, as it causes annoyance to those who did not receive it when others had?  It really is amazing that in this day and age, the internet company that the Club uses is so very mediocre and can't seem to cope at all!

I've spent (and wasted) some considerable time today looking at, or trying to look at, CLs on the CAMC website map.  It just takes forever! I can't believe how slow it still is; hadn't tried to use it for some time and was hoping things might have improved somewhat.  Should have known better frown

I know there are alternatives, such as Search for Sites and UK Campsite, but I find that they don't list every CL.  I know I can search on counties and not on the map, but although my geography of the UK is quite good, I certainly don't know a lot of the CLs' exact whereabouts.  If I want to find a convenient CL for a stopover somewhere near the M1 for example, then there are several counties to search.  So that is also time consuming.

Like vbfg above, I can't understand why this website is still so clunky and frustrating to use.

    Ina

This link was posted in the CL Section, it might help with finding CL's. When you find the CL geographically and click there is a direct link to the Club page for that CL.

I normally do not have issues when using the site booking section but....

I have just made a booking for the Longleat site, on booking it came up with £28 something, same as in the green box, for the availability page.

On adding another adult (the wife) the total went to £41 odd,I continued to the checkout page, without any changes,or signing in to say I was a member, where it diverted back to £28 odd.

    Edit. Using Chromebook
