When moving our caravan today we experienced an intermittent fault on one side of the caravan, at first it was fine, then one roller wouldn't engage, then it did, then it didn't etc., has anyone experienced this problem? any suggestions as to what the fault could be and how to rectify it? thanks.

I had a similar problem that was caused by a failure of some of the tiny plastic gears that drive the mover against the wheel.  Took a while to deduce it was not just the roller slipping. The epicyclic gearing is a marvel of miniturisation but unfortunately in plastic so replacement was only cure.

This once happened to us and it could be the battery in the remote - a simple change will tell you.

Also where we store our caravan the local mobile mast interferes with the signal (a few have the same problem) and only cured by standing very near to the inside mover box. If it worked fine before and no new masts have been erected then it may be a mechanical breakdown or the battery.
