Tuck me under - not recommended

I wanted to share my disappointing experience with purchasing from Tuck Me Under. I purchased a set of mattress protectors and fitted sheets for our new motor home to fit the 4 mattress configuration at the end of last year. When our new van arrived the fitted sheets fitted perfectly but the set of  protectors did not. The company sent two wrongly sized mattress protectors. When I contacted the director to explain this in the hope they would replace the incorrect protectors they were unhelpful and refused to correct their error. I paid to post the incorrect protectors back to them so they could understand their mistake and I was accused of purchasing them from elsewhere and that they hadn’t manufactured them. I am £100 out of pocket and as you can imagine I’m not impressed with their customer service and with not replacing the I incorrect items but most of all being accused of being a liar. There are other companies manufacturing these products and I hope this will save someone else going through the experience I have had. Happy camping everyone.

Sounds like this company has tucked you up. I thought that they made to your order measurements and if so why are protectors different to the sheets? surely they must accept responsibility if this is the case.

Sometimes in takes a court judgement to make a company realise what they "must accept". Even then, they may try very hard to escape their obligations.

We too have had a poor experience with this company and sadly I wouldn't ever purchase from them again.  We bought a mattress topper for our new caravan (shaped bed) it is 50mm small either side, they said it would spread when it settled in.....but it didn't and they won't take it back as we've used it!

We also bought a shaped duvet, this has their manufacturers tag on it, the stitching came apart and they seemed reluctant to re-stitch saying it wouldn't fit in their machines... strange how they'd been machined during manufacture and fitted in our domestic machine as we'd lost any hope of them rectifying things properly.

We bought some seat covers from them, two of them were the wrong size, we have an L shaped seating in the van, the corner cushion was no where near large enough to go over the cushion and 1 of the back cushions was way too long. They swore blind that their covers were correct and we were fitting them wrongly !!!!!!!! I offered to take the Caravan to them so they could do them properly, they said No so I took the seat cushions over to use as patterns..... After admitting the cushions were different to the measurements they'd been given they made us replacements ... but after collecting them we discover they still don't fit properly, my Partner's Son also has the same van as ours and ordered the same seat covers and they sent him a set out with our two 'wrong' covers in. Again much messing about trying to get them to a) Answer phone calls b) not replying to e-mails c) not looking at Watsapp messages even when they'd asked for pics to be sent via said App.

A REALLY DISSAPOINTING company to deal with, Full of Excuses why things can't be done/altered, yet they'd manufactured them in the first place and an extreme reluctance to do anything about their mistakes

I refer you to my post of 17 June.

Don't let them get away with it and you can always contact CAMC's legal dept for advice.

Which is also a good choice for legal advice and what to do next, and how to phrase your letters, you have to be a member though.

Go to the Caravan show and create a fuss on their stand. Many companies are happy to be keyboard warriors, but don't like it when you get up close and personal
