    Tammygirl is correct about getting a card at the entry barrier.

    The process is quite intuitive and the bollard has multiple languages;  you can pay the 5€ + 1 night's stay by contactless card.

    Mon Village sites are open all year and OK for Motorhomers - but for caravanners the opening dates are restricted and very, very variable. Several are July and August only. Beware.

    Sadly these types of sites are very much in decline now. 

    The new breed of campers want full fat sites but they want cheap to. 

    So many are just happy to camp anywhere, I do mean anywhere. 😒

    We like family run sites, there is a different feel about the place compared to the faceless corporate run sites. Trouble is family run sites can only work if the younger generation are happy to take over. From what we have seen that is the reason they are in decline. That and the cost these days of running a site. 

    We do use CCP Aires they offer good value, arrive when you like leave when you like. No waiting for reception to open, after a very long lunch or rushing to get there before they close for lunch. The Mon Village sites we've used were excellent.
