Gas regulator on new Swift Challenger
Hi everybody,
Our 2019 Swift had a gas regulator with two inlets with an automatic changeover but our new Swift, which we collected last week, has a regulator with just one inlet which is annoying as the front box has the necessary fittings to hold 2 gas bottles. When the gas runs out, sod's law says it will be on a dark and stormy night and I'll get soaked dicking about in the front box swapping the pigtail to the second bottle having no doubt forgotten that it's a reverse thread...
Presumably it's possible to get a suitably qualified engineer to replace the existing regulator with a better version but I'm not sure what impact that would have on the warranty...
I'd be interested to hear how others have dealt with this.
Thanks!

No need to change the existing regulator - a two way changeover valve will simply screw to it, so it’s easy enough to have two cylinders connected. I prefer a manual changeover rather than an automatic one. With a manual changeover I know exactly when the first cylinder is empty and needs replacing but with automatic changeover it can run both cylinders empty before I remember to check.

If you Google Hamilton Gas, then on their website look at Gaslow500 which they sell, there is a description plus how to do it questions with answers on that website.page.
