Awning advice
Hi,
We have a sprite major 6td. Going into Europe for 3 months from the end of March. Will be moving every 3 days or so.
Looking for advice on awnings. We have a cheap inflatable awning but the last 3 week trip we did moving every few days we didn't bother using it as too much effort to put up with 2 small children in tow!
Can't decide if we'll appreciate having the extra space whilst we're away? if you think an awning would be useful, what would you recommend?
Thanks!

As a couple we have visited France from the start of May to the end of Sept, but gave up on a full awning some years ago as we did not need it. You have a large caravan whereas ours have always been small, so in the odd chance you do get poor weather you have a good inside space to get warm.
We have always travelled with a Fiamma Caravanstor on the opposite side, which gives us shelter for the bikes and maiden when it rains, or more usually from the sun. On the door side we have an Isabella Shadow that goes up in minutes. A recent edition is a couple of end panels that can fit on either and have proved invaluable at keeping the sun out. We also carry a lightweight blow up at 3 x 2.5m, which we tend to use in the UK. This easily copes with a table and chairs along with our second fridge. Our Vango Siesta was designed for a Campervan as our Eriba has a low awing rail and takes about 10 minutes to put up, but I'm sure you could find a similar "normal" height porch style awning that would suit
