Hi All,

Has anyone experienced any problems with their bank/credit card accounts?

I had 4 attempts of purchases on my credit card at turn of midnight last night...... 3 x £20 OVO Energy + 1 purchase at Argos for £429.00.

Please be aware given recent events.

Could be a coincidence but I've reported your post to make them aware.

    Thanks for the heads up.

Everything was fine as of Friday. There are a few similar reports on the CAMC official Facebook site. As you say, coincidence or not? My subs were due to be taken out on 1st but hadn’t been as of evening of 2nd. I’ll hav a look on Monday.

As had been said before the club does not hold any credit card information, these are held by World Pay, so I would say just a coincidence.

    Thanks Bakers2,

I will be calling club tomorrow as my bank feel the timing could be more than coincidental.....

IP address for transactions was China!

    Hi Hja,

I don't do FB so unaware of any other notifications but just wanted to post to make members aware & perhaps be a little more observant of their bank a/c for the present....

If any data has been taken it will be names, addresses, date of birth, login-in... I've been told that these could be used to obtain a loan or other such purposes so it's useful to join a credit monitoring/report service like Experian where any applications for credit with be flagged up as an alert with an automatic email. On one of mine I have credit searches locked.

Doesn't have to be for a major loan as I get them when I renew insurance or mobile phones contracts - called 'soft searches'.
