Dear Sirs,  

We would like to come to the Crystal Palace Campsite from August 6 until August 9 2024, we have a caravan (7.5m long) and a car (5.5m long). On the internet it says that the campsite is fully booked out for ANY month, any type of pitch. There must be something wrong.  Please inform us whether a hardstanding pitch is still available for this period and how we can make a Reservation.

    There is a current thread stating how the booking system of the club has shown sites to be full when that was clearly not the case.

    The answer seems to be to telephone the site direct or the booking number (if the club still has one) at HQ.

    I would point out that it is possible that a club site could well be full in school holiday season and particularly so if there is a specific event taking place in the Capital city.

    Give someone a call as suggested above.

    Johanna, Unless the Club  can renew the lease again that site will be closed by then.

    Correction, EuroT. See extract from the site page below:

    "Updated 03 January 2023** Following further discussions between the London Borough of Bromley Council and the Club, we are pleased to announce that the Council has agreed to grant a longer lease which will potentially enable us to keep the site open for bookings until late 2024 with pitches available 13 months ahead"

    I have just checked Crystal Palace campsite for August next year and there seems to be availability for the time you wish to book. When I checked I did use my Windows PC rather than the App. That shouldn't make any difference but we have had others saying they had the same problem with the App? This may seem a bit obvious but are you logged in? If all else fails follow Tinwheeler's suggestion  of contacting the site team at HQ.

    Just checked on my iPad, both App and web site and it is showing availability for the OP’s dates. It was probably just one of those temporary gremlins that seem to crop up all too often.
