We will probably do something after New Year with our pals, they'll have the voucher, too....like us, they wouldn't normally use club sites (too expensive) but getting two nights for one makes the price bearable.

So all fine, thanks CC, a free night is worth having.

Perhaps there will be more offers in the pipeline as the club starts to align itself more against the commercials which play far 'harder' on the offers front.

as mentioned by several folk, the Morris Leisure 3 for 3 offer runs for 6 months throughout the off season...that's a whole different level and one I can't see the club getting to.

however, I appreciate the free night.

"Not doing a winter sun trip this winter"

ditto for us also, but must be getting old, cant think of anything worse now than being in a caravan when it is freezing cold and hissing down, so anything before beginning of April in the UK for us now is a no no, so wont be taking advantage of the free night, not that we use club sites very much anyway.

February can be cold but usually dry. Just make sure there is a pub close by or some other indoor pursuit if you have not got the right clothing to keep out the cold when out walking. Some of my more memorable trips have been in the winter.

Some of our most enjoyable stays have taken place on those cold, crisp frozen days of winter. Walks out, pub lunch by an open fire, then feet up in a cosy motorhome reading a book or watching a film. Dreams of warmer days maybe but lots to do if you embrace the season and required clothing! We don’t do hibernation, life’s too short as it is!

Pub or cafe, it doesn’t really matter. Whilst it is very pleasant to sit on a hillside in the sun, eating your sandwiches and taking in the view, in the better weather. It’s much nicer to get in the warm for an hour, sit in a proper seat and enjoy your lunch. Whilst we still enjoy walking in the winter, eating outside not so much. If there is no convenient place to get inside we generally start earlier and head back to the MH for a late lunch. Just taking a flask of coffee and some biscuits.

We like to be out in fresh air as well. Happy to visit a cafe or a nice pub for lunch, but for us, this is where taking MH out is really nice. Today will be up and off into Scarborough, free park up under castle, a walk round the bay, back to MH, kettle on, then sit back and hopefully spot some dolphins, while enjoying lunch with friends.
