A59 Closure in North Yorkshire

Just a heads up for anyone heading along, or hoping to, the A59 between Bolton Abbey and Blubberhouses (west of Harrogate) or vice versa that the road will be closed until the 12th.November. 

If travelling from Harrogate you will be diverted to Otley to the A65. The alternatives may not be attractive if towing or driving a large Motorhome.

    The information I read would confirm what you say.  Definitely not recommended for large motorhomes or for towing a caravan.
