Motorhome stay near Whitby
Hi everyone,still new to this game,,anyway we asked some time ago for recommendations on where to stay generally.quite a few people recommended a site near Whitby,in Sandsend i believe,quote "a steep walk down tobeach" but that is all i have,wrote it down somewhere but lost that...needle in a haystack really but can anyone help

Sandsend is hilly, as is Whitby. You have to drop down steep steps in some places to get from the roadside, onto the sands. Here is Searchforsites page for Sandsend….

Re Sandfield House Farm, the walk down to the beach is not too bad but if you have mobility issues coming back up might be difficult.

Although not a CAMC site, Whitby Holiday Park is on the cliffs above Whitby has some wonderful views of the coastline. It's about a 20 minute walk into Whitby.
