New Leisure Battery - advice needed
Hi all, my battery has given up so I'm in the market for a new one. It's for a 2006 Sterling Eccles, mostly used on EHU and it has a motor mover. Happy to spend up to around £200 and having tried to find one I thought I'd see what others are using and if anyone has any recommendations.
Thanks in advance

You will soon get lots of info re makes of battery to buy. I got mine at that well known car accessory shop H.... 4 yrs ago and it is still going strong. Recommend a 110 amp battery but most importantly make sure it will fit in the battery storage box of your caravan.
By the way, if you go into 'My Profile' you can give yourself a nice screen name.

The club a number of year now did do a review of LV batteries and came to the same conclusion as PD. If you're on EHU then it doesn't need to be a leisure battery although I can't see price difference nowadays?

This site holds some interesting information about batteries for leisure use.

Last year I brought 2 HLB 700 from a well known dept store as these are re-branded Yussa L36-EFB batteries. I keep one on the van and one charged and swap them over every couple of months.
However, the price of these have shot uo, I got 2 for less than the price of 1 of these now and its cheeper to buy the Yussa branded one.
