+1, I have been questioned over a certain amount being deposited. After we talked(Bank teller & me) it was explained it was ‘money laundering’ rules & potential issues to be reported to the national crime agency in truth it wasn’t the amount it was the change in pattern as I invariably used Edeposits. It makes sense & for an easier life for everyone to use cashless money movement as it has a footprint👍🏻

I thought yours was a PVC, Ray. There’s no issue with nipping out with that.

The cost of acquiring is hardly the point but I find it hard to believe that not everyone goes prepared.

OH also detests UHT milk. When I worked in south Italy in the early 80s, getting fresh milk was very difficult, used to be similar in France too, but a few years now since we have been there. I did not mind the UHT on cereal, but not for drinking. Our son, then about 11, got used to it quite quickly.
DD is into unsweetened almond milk on cereal, says it is OK in coffee, but horrible in tea......she ran out of real milk one day so tried it!

I would have thought most of us, with just two to cater for, can arrive with sufficient supplies to last for 4 days. To go to a site for longer with no intention of moving the MH and no means of getting to shops, doesn’t seem particularly sensible.
I don’t think we have ever used site shops for things like milk, although have bought local eggs and other local, products when stocked and particularly liked that aspect of them.5 -

Oat milk seems to work best both in tea and coffee. Because of the dairy ban when crossing the water we took a carton of this with us to get us started on our last tour.

KJ, mention to your DD to try Oatly milk in both tea & coffee. It is thicker than std Oat Milk. If it is shaken rigorously before pouring it forms a froth & with a good coffee it is wonderful, tea too but with coffee it’s a toe curler👍🏻😊

For the benefit of anybody visiting Wharfedale Club site, you might be pleased to learn that the site staff are still operating a shop for basics.
