Troutbeck Head TV Reception via Booster

Have recently stayed at the Troutbeck  Head site and had problems with the TV signal.  My extension lead would not work direct to the tv from the booster on site or through the caravan. The only way it would work is by purchasing a lead from the site and plugging it in direct to the tv from booster on the tower. I wonder if anyone else has had this problem.

I've stayed at TH many times and while we don't have a tv I have noticed while walking around many outfits with tvs on and yes with a white cable attached. I can only assume there is a fault with your original cable? Has it worked recently somewhere else?

We had a problem with TV reception at that site and it turned out that our original cable was faulty and, as it was the old-type semi-rigid coax, we decided to update and bought a new one on site. It's very flexible. Their cable has worked for us at several different Club sites now, so we can recommend!

    Hope this helps.

The vast majority of TV aerial cabling sold is designed for one off static installation in buildings. The constant winding and unwinding of solid central core coax is the main cause of fracture and failure.
