I don't want to start an argument about the value of different Satnavs, but I am using Waze at the moment and this last trip had a few problems with loss of signal.

Thought about going back to a stand alone Tomtom, before I do, any comments on Copilot?

I think it uses offline maps?

I also have to have a satnav that allows input of coordinates, just found out that we will have to use them to navigate in Germany.

We are taking part in an organised tour of the Rhine and we received the info pack, maps etc and it states that all directions will be in coordinates.  Difficult for me, as far as I know you can't input coordinates into Waze.

Many thanks, I will invest in the Copilot app.

I'll do it today and that will give me a few weeks to practice inputting the coordinates.

Glad you like it GL, I have been using the truck version for years. That does have some disadvantages when you are not really a truck but I have found it very very good at avoiding obstacals and keeping me on the more suitable roads. I suspect there are no longer truck and car version, just the one with some of the functions and data dependant on what sub you pay.
