Emissions sticker

In preparation for our German tour, I have received an emissions sticker...where on the windscreen should it be placed?

    I always placed mine on the nearside of my windscreen.  Never had a problem in all the years travelling in Germany including going into the centres of very large cities.  No doubt Lutz will be along to advise you

    I’m sure when we received our French one there was some advice in the form of a leaflet, however it is a few years ago. Anyway ours is on the offside (here) nearside (over there) at the bottom of the windscreen.

    I have always put them on the UK driver side in the bottom corner of the windscreen as that was the position illustrated on one of the german websites. I don't know as a fact but assume that German cars will be parked along a road with the passenger side next to the pavement making it easier for any Official to check?

    Sounds sensible kerbside.   No leaflet came with the disc, so appreciate your info.

    I've had the french critair in both my cars for a few years now. Positioned next to the toll tag behind the rear view mirror.

    There is no specific requirement where the sticker shall be located other than on the inside of the windscreen. However, it is usual to place it in the bottom right hand corner when sitting inside the car.

    That is where the French guidance says it should go, so I put my German one there as well.

    We got our German one from a VW dealer in Germany, they placed it bottom right.
