I have put this in the Overseas Section as I know many use Club Card Points to pay for Eurotunnel crossings. I have just received an email from Tesco informing me that their reward ratio will reduce from x3 to x2 from the 14th June 2023. See here for FAQ's.

Inevitable I suppose, given price of almost everything has gone up. I like the Tesco Club card scheme, in the past it has given us some absolute bargain trips out. Great when value was 4x club points, good still at 3x, 2x will be better than nothing. I have a lot, so need to use them up🤔😁

    Thanks for the heads up

Age does strange things to the memory, but can anybody else remember when it used to be x4 on the crossings?

No, only ever remember it being X3. Fortunately I have used most of mine for this years crossing and x2 in the future is better than nothing.

Apologies, I wasn’t referring to the crossings, I was talking about some of the other stuff that’s available in and around the UK. I know DK started it in Overseas, but Tesco points were/are available for a lot of stuff in this country as well, and many of these were 4x. We used ours for Hampton Court and Tower of London one weekend trip at the 4x rate. Great value for overseas of course.

It's good that they are extending their validity for usage from 6 to 12 months if ordered before 13th.June.

Thanks for the heads up David.

I remember it well, Colin, although it's a while ago now; we had a MH for many years, and used to go via Eurotunnel to France twice a year.  Most years Tesco vouchers paid for 2 return crossings every year, those were the days laughing

I also remember the 4 x vouchers made it very worthwhile using the tunnel.

Used ours up last autumn on crossings and have no plans this year to use tunnel so will have to see what else we can spend them on.

I've just surrendered the last £45 of my Tesco vouchers. I was surprised to see June 2024 crossings are already live and a mid afternoon crossing of £190 for car and caravan was too good to miss.

This will also save me Red Pennant costs as I can arrange a years multi-trip for a late summer 2022 and early summer 2023 at £310 instead of two separates at £178 each.

I'll sort the return out via ???  later this year when the other providers make there crossings available. I've usually found late Oct is a good time to book.
